01
The Study Abroad Program at an Overseas University is not about "learning English," but about "learning content (departmental subjects) in English. Students will study in the same curriculum as that of local universities abroad, focusing on "listening, speaking, and using" university English on a daily basis.
- Only classes for study abroad and employment preparation will be conducted in Japanese.
02
By earning the equivalent of two years of university credits in one year and eight months, students can transfer to an overseas university in the third year. By transferring credits equivalent to two years of university, students are able to study specialized courses immediately after entering university, effectively shortening the time spent at overseas universities.
03
Each overseas university has its own English test as a requirement for admission. Classes focus on preparation for the TOEFL iBT?, and as your language skills improve, we will prepare you for other English tests (such as IELTS). This expands your choice of universities to which you can enter after graduation.

MESSAGE
Messages from Graduates
Studied hospitality and tourism in Hawaii.
I also experienced ground staff OPT in New York.
I enrolled in the Study Abroad Program, where I was able to carefully train my English skills, with the goal of studying abroad. To be honest, the English-immersion classes and assignments were tough every day, but I was able to get through them encouraged by my classmates who had the same goal of "studying abroad. While many universities have stopped accepting international students due to the Corona Disaster, I was able to study at Kapiolani Community College (KCC) in Hawaii thanks to the support of Kanda Institute of Foreign Languages. I majored in Hospitality and Tourism, and was particularly impressed with the classes on tour guiding in Hawaii's sightseeing spots and learning about the boarding pass reservation system in the airline industry. Many students are friendly, and I even tried surfing with friends on my days off. I also participated in extracurricular activities as a "Student Assistant" to support local students. One of my fondest memories is that many students came to the dance workshop I organized. After graduation, I took advantage of the OPT program and worked as a ground agent for ANA at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York for one year. It was very rewarding when I received compliments from customers on my responses and smiles, and I was able to practice expressions used in business situations, unlike the English I had learned at KCC, because I took on the challenge of the OPT program. I think my English skills have improved dramatically over the past year. I have now returned to my home country and am aiming to transfer to an overseas university again to obtain a bachelor's degree. In the future, I would like to immigrate to the U.S. and find a job where I can demonstrate the hospitality that is unique to Japan and make many people smile.
