STEP01
Participation in the University's Open Campus
(From April 1, 2023)
Please attend our open campus (including online format and individual consultation) to understand the curriculum and features of Kanda Institute of Languages.
STEP02
AO Interview
(June 1, 2023 - October 31, 2023)
We will conduct AO interviews at open campuses and during individual consultations. Please tell us about your future dreams and goals.

AO Entry
(June 1, 2023 - October 31, 2023)
Applications are accepted through the University's web application site. Please enter your name and address. After confirmation by the university, we will send you a letter of acceptance for the AO entrance examination by e-mail.
*Those who have received the AO Admission Application Approval Letter do not need to complete the AO Entry Procedure.

(September 1, 2023 - January 9, 2024)
Applications are accepted through the university's web application site. Please select the department you wish to apply for and enter your personal information.

Submission of Application Documents
After registering your application on the web application site, please send the required documents by mail or submit them to our office.
Please note that the examination fee for the AO Entrance Examination is fully exempted.

STEP06
Selection (document screening)
Once the required documents are received, an examination number will be assigned to your examination voucher on the My Page of the web application site. After that, the screening of documents will be conducted at the university. You do not need to come to the school for the document screening.
*Only the Department of Global Communication will conduct interviews in Japanese and English, including an oral examination, on a schedule designated by the university (online examinations are also acceptable).

Issuance of certificate of acceptance (notification of pass/fail)
Pass/fail will be announced on My Page within 5 business days after the examination number is issued. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent by registered express mail. Please note that, in principle, we do not announce results by posting on campus or by telephone.
STEP08
Admission procedures (payment of school fees)
Please transfer the tuition fee to the designated bank account indicated in the materials enclosed with your acceptance letter.
*The admission fee is 150,000 yen, but there are exemptions depending on the time of application. Please click here for details.

Certificate of Admission
It will be sent together with the "Future Schedule" which contains a detailed schedule after the entrance ceremony.

After selecting the application method and the department you wish to apply for, please enter your personal information on the website. Once you have completed the application, please pay the application fee by 5:00 p.m. on the deadline date of each application period.
*The application fee is 25,900 yen (25,000 yen for the application fee + 900 yen for the handling fee), but there are exemptions depending on the application period and method. For details, please click here.

The examination fee cannot be paid at the University's office.

The screening date will vary depending on the application period. Please bring your examination voucher and appropriate attire to the school as you will be interviewed.
*In principle, the examination will be conducted in a face-to-face format, but it is also possible to take the examination online. If you wish to do so, please check the appropriate box on the web application site at the time of application. The URL for the online interview will be displayed on My Page.
