Applicants must have attended our open campus, listened to the explanation, and have a good understanding of Kanda Institute of Languages, and meet one of the following criteria. If accepted, the applicant must enroll in the program.

Privileges for AO Exam Applicants
AO applicants who are admitted can take a pre-entrance education program conducted by Kanda Institute of Languages (no fee is required).
Get off to a good start in April by taking classes at Kanda Institute of Languages before entering school. For more information, please click here.
Entrance Examination with Designated School Recommendation

Recommendation Criteria |
A. High school graduates (expected) One of the following must apply. <All departments (except Global Communication) ● English learning status in high school is 3.0 or higher on a 5-point scale ●Status of study results in all subjects in high school is 3.0 or higher on a 5-point scale Practical English Proficiency Test Level 2 or above TOEIC? 350 or above TOEFL iBT? 40 or above GTEC total score of 820 or above Nissho Bookkeeping Examination Level 2 or above Those who have been in full attendance from the time of entering high school until the date of the survey report. Have experience as student body president or vice president of the student council <Department of Global Communication ● English learning status in high school is 4.0 or higher on a 5-point scale Have a level 2 or higher of the Practical English Proficiency Test or equivalent. General Entrance Examination

About the general dual enrollment system
Applicants for the 5th through 11th terms of the General Entrance Examination may use the general co-enrollment system with a university or junior college.
*Existing high school graduates can use the general dual application system from the first term.
*It is also possible not to use it.
The general concurrent application system is a system that allows applicants to secure acceptance until Friday, March 8, 2024 by paying only the admission fee.
Applicants who wish to apply under the general application system must check the appropriate box on the web application site at the time of application.
*Please note that changes cannot be made after the application has been submitted.
Successful applicants will receive an "Application Form for Co-enrollment" along with the enrollment documents. Please fill out the form and submit it to Kanda Institute of Languages by the deadline for enrollment procedures, and pay the enrollment fee of 150,000 yen. If you wish to enroll in the school, you must pay the rest of the school expenses by the deadline of the enrollment procedures for applicants under the general application system (March 8, 2024 (Fri.) at the latest) to complete the enrollment procedures. Please note that the admission fee, once paid, is non-refundable.
However, if you are accepted and enroll in our sister school, Kanda University of International Studies, the enrollment fee will be refunded after April upon application.

About the Kanda University of International Studies Preference System for Students Applying to Kanda University of International Studies
The Kanda University of International Studies dual-application preferential entrance examination system is a system whereby applicants to Kanda University of International Studies are exempted from the examination fee, do not need to submit any documents, and can secure admission until March 29, 2024 (Friday) by paying only the admission fee after being accepted.
*This program is available after the application to Kanda University of International Studies has been completed.
Those applying to the Global Communication and Study Abroad programs are required to attend an information session for each department.

There is a tuition reduction/exemption system for students who graduated from a Japanese language school designated by Kanda Institute of Languages.
