President Shingo ASHIZAWA

Although Kanda University of International Studies (KUIS), founded in 1987, has a relatively short history, it has developed a distinctive educational philosophy and a truly learner-centered environment. Guided by its founding mission, “Language is the foundation to link the world in peace,” KUIS is committed to providing an education that fosters intercultural understanding, advanced knowledge, and strong communication skills. As the 7th President, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to our international partners. Each year, we welcome around 200 exchange students from partner institutions. Alongside traditional exchange programs, KUIS continues to expand collaborative courses, joint projects, and other forms of international academic cooperation, further strengthening intercultural learning for students at KUIS and those from our partner schools.
