By creating a single department that covers the languages of countries and regions in Asia that are particularly conspicuous for their economic development, starting with China and Korea and ranging to Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand, we foster human resources with the ability to grasp ideas from the perspective of a broader meaning of ‘Asia’ instead of on an individual country level. You will of course learn language, but also the history and economics of each individual country as well as their relationship with each other.
