Make friends beyond your department, school year or nationality
At Kanda University of International Studies, there is a wide variety of clubs, numbering over 80, open to anyone enrolled at KUIS. As is appropriate for a foreign language university, many clubs involve learning about other cultures, such as dancing or music, so students can experience world cultures even though they are in Japan.
KUIS students learn regional languages and the cultures from which those languages develop, so they are tolerant and proactive. This means they will happily welcome as a new member anyone who expresses a desire to join a club. Even through extra-curricular activities, students will become more open-minded by make friends regardless of nationality, and by succeeding or failing in many new opportunities. Both body and mind will be strengthened as you consolidate the basics of human interactions through communicating with your club seniors and juniors. This is an opportunity to make lifelong friends.
